NuGen Day Home Agency partners with Alberta Children and Family Services to ensure compliance with the Family Day Home Standards Manual for Alberta. Our Agency welcomes applications from prospective Day Home Providers, conducts interviews, assists in the setup process, verifies qualifications, and conducts home visits to ensure they meet the licensing requirements.
Once licensed, Day Home Providers can begin accepting families into their care. We offer continuous support through regularly announced and unannounced visits and staff development training. Our monthly newsletter informs Providers of seasonal activities and licensing updates, fostering a sense of community and cooperation.
We also assist families in applying for government subsidies to make child care more affordable. Through ongoing communication, we ensure that children are comfortable and well cared for in their Day Home Provider’s environment.
At NuGen Day Home Agency, we are committed to helping Day Home Providers start their day homes and thrive as successful childcare providers collaborating with families.

NuGen Day Home Agency sees Providers as support for families in providing quality child care. Children in the Providers care will experience loving and nurturing care to prepare them for their future in school and community lives.
Our Mission
NuGen Day Home Agency’s mission is to support Day Home Providers in preparing and establishing their homes for a safe, nurturing and healthy environment for children in their care. NuGen Day Home Agency focuses on child development on play-based learning and will help set up providers’ homes with this mission in mind.
The Agency will constantly provide staff training for Providers to ensure that the standards stated in the Family Day Home Standards Manual for Alberta is implemented.
